I am 24 years old, happily taken for over 8 years, gay, female, and relatively happy. I haven't had it easy (but then, who has?) but I feel that I've moved on from my past and am trying to walk forward without ever looking back. I consider myself a loner; I enjoy sitting in my room watching DVDs or playing on the internet. I also enjoy swimming laps, because it clears my head and makes me feel good.
I love the written word, and I think that language and communication are the keys to everything. I'm a fairly peaceful person, more likely to walk away from the fray than jump into it, but I have a very raw sense of humor. I don't think there's anything that you can't learn to laugh about.
My entire world revolves around my girlfriend and anything related to Joss Whedon. He is very honestly, my hero. I love Buffy, Angel, and Firefly, and I rarely speak about anything else in my real life. The word obsession is definitely accurate, but I don't see it as a negative thing. I honestly don't think I could be friends with someone who either hates Buffy or just doesn't understand it.
And I tried to get my friend Alexis into it,
but she was bored
She said "The characters weren't believeable;
